34-DropArt

An interactive dance performance combining human movement with technological interface. Born from an interest in the female body contour movement and it’s illustration as perceived from the outside as well as from a personal perspective. The inner struggle becomes apparent to the audience thru the images that disappear and reappear and the motion which creates them. The algorithmic mediation brings something else to life, a new ghost in the machine whose crescendo of movements generates a dynamic space of temporal transience and of cyclical interactions between the dancer and her own random sequences, between the present and a chaotic arrow of time, between emotions, machine and the subtle glitches in the audience perception.

Coreography dance & Performance: Ella Grinbaum
Original music: Aviv Cohen
