VIDEO MAPPING AND 3D INTEGRATION WORKSHOP
BEZALEL ACADEMY OF ARTS AND DESIGN JERUSALEM
SHAUL TZEMACH, DAVID GANN

41-Video-Mapping

The workshop will introduce generative techniques and ways to integrate three-dimensional objects for real time video mapping. It will be built as a project work plan of video mapping for a given building, so that the work process will focus on creating a video installation in a specific location. The main points will be: Introduction to vvvv — a multipurpose toolkit, versatile software which is able to create generative animation and interactive tools; Three dimensional integration — ways to import three-dimensional objects, characters animation or entire scenes from software such as 3dMax/Maya/Blender into vvvv; Video mapping tools — methods of customizing edit screens to fit the real world.

vvvv is free for non-commercial use, commercial use requires a license.
