39-Design-Your-Campus

Design your campus is a station that allows students, lecturers and all campus daily visitors to express their concrete wishes as to how their campus should look. The user encounters a white, half open “box”, a collection of miniature objects and some papers, scissors and markers for creating customized miniature objects. When an object is placed in the “box”, a screen shows the area intended for redesign in real-life, augmented with the objects. The ease of use of this seemingly playful workshop, where the augmentation imagines possible remakes of a space for us, opens the discussion to all interested users, adults and children, professionals and non-professionals. Who should be designing the habitats we use?
